We are a small UK family-run business focused on giving quality products a second life.
At Thrift Butik, we offer a wide range of pre-loved, open-box, clearance, surplus and discounted items across categories including household goods, electronics, clothing, furniture and more.
Our goal is simple:
to provide great value while helping reduce unnecessary waste by keeping usable products in circulation instead of landfill.
We believe that affordable products and sustainability can go hand in hand.
Quality & Transparency
We carefully inspect and describe retail items before listing them for sale. Where possible, products are tested, cleaned and photographed clearly so customers know exactly what they are purchasing.
As our stock comes from a variety of sources, packaging and cosmetic condition can sometimes vary. Any known faults, marks or missing accessories will always be stated within the product listing.
Where Our Stock Comes From
Our inventory is sourced from a mixture of surplus stock, clearance lines, liquidated stock, open-box items and customer returns.
This allows us to offer heavily discounted prices across both retail and wholesale stock while helping reduce unnecessary waste.

We work with both retail customers and trade buyers, offering reliable stock, clear grading, and flexible purchasing options to suit different buying needs.
How We Started and Where We Are Now
What began as a small part-time venture in 2024, operating from home and selling through car boot sales and Facebook, quickly revealed both the opportunities and challenges of trading. The practical demands of loading and unloading vehicles each weekend led us to seek a more sustainable model, prompting our move into online selling — primarily through eBay.
By early 2026, the business had outgrown the space available to us. This marked the transition from a side project into a fully established operation, and we moved into the industrial unit we are currently based in. This step allowed us to expand our product range, improve efficiency, and better serve both retail customers and local traders by offering a dependable, local source of stock.
More recently, we launched our own website to provide greater flexibility for our customers — from easier purchasing and returns to offering the same products at more competitive prices. This move also helps us streamline operations and reduce overheads, allowing us to pass savings directly on to our customers.
Future Plans
We are actively developing new relationships and sourcing channels to secure higher-quality stock for both our retail and wholesale customers. Our goal is to become a trusted destination for dependable sourcing.
Due to current space limitations, we are able to hold approximately 30-40 pallets for wholesale customers. Looking ahead to around 2028, and subject to continued growth, we plan to expand our storage capacity to approximately 100 pallets, allowing us to offer a broader and more varied selection of stock.
Our Quality Promise
Guided by the principle “Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you,” we are committed to fair and responsible trading practices.
We carefully select and sell virgin pallets for wholesale. Where stock is required for individual sale, pallets are broken down and items are processed separately.
Some products are more suitable for wholesale than individual retail sale due to handling time, assembly requirements or commercial viability. Wholesale stock is therefore sold separately and described as accurately as possible for trade buyers.
Retail customer returns are processed separately and assessed individually before being repaired, resold or responsibly recycled where appropriate.
